Club Six (60 6th St, San Francisco)

Photos are coming soon

You're late, you're late, for a very important date!

Comfort & Joy invites you behind the looking glass! Drink a potion and immerse yourself in wonderlands by exploring our Rabbits Hole.

Dance in the Main Room, envisioned by our Chickpea, where opulence meets whimsy. Lounge and let the curious ambiance wash over you in the Side Room, in which Ruby and the Art Collective transform space for time to stand still.

Go deeper down the rabbit holes into the Underground where Verde will take you through the looking glass into a world where everything is reversed. This subterranean space is an upside-down, inside-out dark wonderland where reflections twist and the familiar becomes strangely alien. Only to realize it is Not a Dream.

Be royal, be rebel, or fantastic creature!
Dress in your Wonderland best!
Or “off with their heads”
the Queen will protest!
See you at the dance floor in
Not a Dream!

We are volunteer led non-profit and we meet new friends & chosen family through volunteering!

If you identify as trans, or BIPOC, or the tickets are out of reach, apply for a Radical Inclusion ticket via our Affinity program!

Main Room

  • Hil Huerta based out of the bay Area has been throwing and promoting parties since 86'. Now one of the Bay Area’s top promoters and still a top-notch DJ, Hil is known for his eclectic house music sets, ranging from funky cuts to electro-fueled tech house to progressive grooves.

In his continuing quest to keep the crowd moving...

Hil divides his time between DJing, running a successful promotions company, and working in the studio. He is currently producing music for Yerba Buena Discos and continues his contribution to the dance music community by promoting the Ultra Music Festival.

  • Stanley Frank Sensation has been producing and playing parties in San Francisco since 2005. In the dusty video library of the Moby Dick Bar, tucked in a small closet behind the dishwashing machine, Stanley began playing his already signature style of disco, house and rare throwbacks; Utilizing the bar's TV screens not only for music videos, but to play hypnotic, exotic underground and foreign films. The vibe was creative, camp, and artsy but always accessibly fun. This lead him to his first official night at the now defunct Transfer Bar on Church and Market. The night was Chilidog! and became a Tuesday night staple. The soundtrack was italo disco, leftfield house and end of the night intoxicated sing-a-longs (think Rod Stewart's 'Young Turks' or ELO's 'Strange Magic'). The screens played everything from Fellini's Satyricon, the hallucinogenically homo-erotic Hercules in the Underworld, to old episodes of The Muppet Show. Stanley has had a party (or four) aflame every year since then, each with a different concept. The Underground SF had the Monday night crazy Viennetta Discotheque, Saturdays at Q Bar, Go Bang! at the Deco Lounge, Baby's On Fire with JaviEnRose, the Babysitter's Club, I Love Cochina Tonga's at the Lookout, and more, including some exciting guest slots like Sunset/STOMPE NYD, opening for Glass Candy, Psychic TV, and Peaches. Currently, he is busy guesting around town and with producing or playing at Daytime Realness and Xismes! at El Rio, Beatpig at the Powerhouse (and now Pillows there, every Monday), the Kiki tuesdays at Beaux, French Press at Underground SF, and The Chroma-Zone at Oasis. Whether you've heard them tens of times before, or for the first time, Stanley's sets are always fresh, dynamic, eclectic and uniquely his sound, definitely influenced by his childhood in the 80s. He is of the opinion, one he thinks he read Larry Levan say once, that all music can be played like a house record. be prepared for some surprises and always some smiles.

Downstairs

  • Apadravya is a Sanskrit word of several meanings—an impurity, something bad, a penile extension device from the Kama Sutra, and most notably an uncommon piercing (google search not for the faint of heart). Created by Kamran Adib of Zenith Flare Records in 2020, DJ Apadravya crafts a unique sound with one single purpose: to curate an unforgettable experience. A self-described downtempo savant, DJ Apadravya is a pagan ritual that only could have evolved from the queer nightlife and burner scene in San Francisco. Their sound is a melting pot of gyration steeped in a hypnotic broth… garnished with live saxophone.

A Word on Consent:
Consent is key at our events — Comfort & Joy has got your back! For support or to report concerns, look for our 'Vibe-Raters' with purple glow collars or a house manager in turquoise-white lace. We aim for an environment where everyone feels respected, empowered, and safe. Always seek clear, enthusiastic consent before initiating physical contact. Remember, a polite 'no thank you' is perfectly okay, and 'no' is a full response. Respect any form of 'no' you might receive. Let's prioritize asking for permission over seeking forgiveness in matters of consent.

Accessibility:
This event is for individuals 21 and over, welcoming all genders. It's held in an older building with limited wheelchair access: the main floor is step-free, but the basement and coat check are stair-access only. Expect crowds, loud music, and challenging navigation. Lighting may be dim, with possible strobe use. The event is not scent-free. All bathrooms are gender-inclusive. Emergency medical services (EMS) will be available on-site.
