Comfort & Joy is delighted to invite you to gather and groove with your queer community cohort at the glowingest psychedelic boudoir we can conjure!

Since its inception at the 14th Street Radical Faerie House, Touch has combined fully immersive UV light art, dragtastic performances, scintillating energy on the dance floor and sumptuous surprises for all the senses, creating an iconic San Francisco nightlife experience that welcomes all sorts of queer, artsy and allied community members home in the City. We work actively to counter internalized homophobia, race- and gender-isms, build community through the creation of art and embrace the magic of consensual, communicative touch.

This queer liberation work to heal hearts and support souls is even more vital as we all continue to move back into the public realm together — we hope we can all bring as much loving energy as needed to heat up the ever-longer nights for you + your lovers this fall.

Comfort & Joy is here for you: if you ever need support or have concerns at our parties, please find one of our 'vibe-raters' (purple glow collars) and ask, report or swoon as needed. We want to make sure everyone gets through the night feeling healthy and respected. As always, please communicate before reaching out, even to friends of years and years.

Upstairs

Ready, set, SHIMMY! With sets leading you through deep grooves 'n groovy moves we have DJ Aili, Jason Godfrey and Sergio Fedasz upstairs in the main room.

Aili’s star power first ignited when she won a DJ contest at Club Avalon in San Francisco in 1998. Since then, she’s held residencies at BOSS750, Club 1015, Sno-Drift, Space 550, and is a frequent guest DJ at KYLD 94.9 FM. She’s passionate about Deep House, Sexy House, Tech House, and Progressive Trance. By day, she’s a Senior Audio Producer at Pandora, and she’s also composed music at EA for The Sims. Aili may change her hair color often, but two things that always stay the same are her warm and friendly smile and love of good beats.
Jason Godfrey is a dance music DJ based out of San Francisco, California. With 20 years of experience behind the decks he's developed an uncanny ability to get people moving to the music with his track selection and mixing skill. Raised with musical influences in disco, funk, soul, hip-hop and R&B, he's able to weave these genres into contemporary dance music for a fun, sexy and enthralling experience. With his relentless energy and endless passion he will do whatever it takes to get the dance floor moving.
Sergio Fedasz has become something of a San Francisco institution since starting his out-of-control Go BANG! Disco party more than 13 years ago. He can be found DJing throughout the Bay Area at myriad club events, posh galas, and leather bars.

Downstairs

In the basement, sets by JMaximilian and DJ Tomcat are guaranteed to make you gyrate alongside all manner of gear voyeurs!

Comfort & Joy Resident DJ and Board Director J.Maximilian opens in the basement, back with a fresh batch of Ambient, Downtempo, Chillwave and Vaporwave vibes.
DJ Tomcat SF (formerly DJ Neco D) is a self-taught DJ who’s been spinning for nearly 20 years. He began playing music with Comfort & Joy in 2005 and became a resident DJ in 2019. He specializes in chill vibes with lo fi beats to create an atmosphere that’s equal parts make-out room and cocktail lounge.
