Comfort & Joy jubilantly invites you to Afterglow New Year – Prism Palace — a queer New Year’s Eve masquerade ball with wall-to-ceiling art, new queer friends and chosen family, and gender-bending performative fun.
Prism Palace is Part II of Comfort & Joy’s “Once Upon a Queer” fairytale. We will ring in the New Year under a neon crystal wonderland. Tonight, we enter a “mask-queerade” where it’s Mask for Mask, so don your mask and gay rococo apparel and dance until the disco balls drop. Masks are highly encouraged to get into the vibe. We will have some available, or you can bring your own.
In the life of a queer person, we often filter our actions to fit society’s expectations. These filters become prisms of our reality and masks that conceal. On New Year’s Eve, we collectively unmask and stand strong together in our collective vulnerability.

No one knows how to push the boundaries of House music quite like Mz Worthy. With a deeply intuitive understanding of production, she’s shown reverence to the traditional form of classic House even while tripping off the mark & sinking into euphoric, less-charted territories of booty-clapping bass. Attaching “Mz” to her name, Mz Worthy marks the new era of her career. With a new relationship to DJing, she connects with her music and her audience like never before.
Despite over two decades in the scene, she continuously felt disconnected from the world and her fans. After years of repressing feelings of gender dysphoria, Mz Worthy came out as transgender in 2020. Describing the discovery as pieces of a puzzle coming together, Mz Worthy has invited her fans to join her on her journey in finding herself.
Mz Worthy is no stranger to the world of electronic music. She released her breakout track “Irst Te” off Dirtybird records back in 2007, followed up by bangers like “Shy Look” (2012), “Tric Trac” with Eats Everything (2011) and “Dip” (2013). Worthy once again proved her notoriety as a producer with her 2014 debut album, Disbehave. The critically acclaimed album defies genres and pushes the boundaries of the traditional House sound.
A veteran to some of the largest music festivals out there, Mz Worthy has the insight to play for her audience every time, cultivating intense positive energy and an energetic dance floor camaraderie.
She invites her audience to embrace their true selves, just as she is.

A familiar force in contemporary dance music, Homero Espinosa has emerged as one of the preeminent purveyors of the modern West Coast House Sound. A dance music dignitary whose musical roots emanate from the infamous San Francisco underground of the late ‘90s, Espinosa began spinning records as DJ Hueyin the Bay Area, quickly finding a niche in the renegade rave scene. Over the last two decades, he has developed a unique musical perspective that blends elements of jazz, soul, and hip hop to melodically produce a sound that is as contemporary as it is timelessly classic. Recording under the names Ovidio, Two Craigs And A Homie, Wayne Shockness, and his own namesake, Homero Espinosa has carved out his own niche sound, producing recordings for mainstay labels such as Tango Recordings, Viva! Recordings, Nite Grooves, i! Records, Strictly Rhythm, Robsoul Recordings, and his own imprint, Moulton Music. Armed with an ever-growing discography of accolades, 2020 sees Espinosa releasing new productions with Mark Farina, DJ Heather, David Harness, and Doc Martinas he prepares for his debut full-length LP, slated to be released in early 2022, and it’s going to make you Boogie Till You Drop.

Sergio Fedasz has become something of a San Francisco institution since starting his out-of-control Go BANG! Disco party more than 13 years ago. He can be found DJing throughout the Bay Area at myriad club events, posh galas, and leather bars.
He is so excited to be a part of this year's amazing Afterglow Pride event. He has performed there often, but his fondest memory is the prior time he played the main room for the final set, and can;t wait to do it again for YOU! <3

For over 15 years, Adriana A has been the creator, producer, promoter, and resident DJ of the Bootie Mashup brand, becoming a well-oiled mashup machine.
She plays for huge crowds every weekend -- as well as livestreaming on Twitch for a worldwide audience -- with an unparalleled collection of 100% genre-busting bootleg mashups.
The Bootie Mashup events she produces in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, and Seattle draw hundreds each week, with creative themes always keeping things fresh.
As a tireless mashup evangelist, she’s played all over the world, bringing the signature Bootie Mashup sound to five different continents.
A captivating singer as well as a DJ, Adriana A leads crowds into confetti explosions of mashup sing-alongs ... and also sings mashups live, throwing in a few surprise performances throughout the night.
Nailing that sweet spot between current pop hits and classic songs that press the nostalgia button, the dance floor – or livestream chat room – becomes as mashed-up as the music.
For 12 years in a row, Bootie has won awards such as “Best Club Night,” “Best Promoter,” and “Best DJ” from multiple media outlets in California.
Her annual “Best of Bootie Mashup” mixtapes are internet sensations each year, and her monthly Bootie Mashup Top 10 MP3 blog is anxiously downloaded not just by fans ... but by other DJs as well!
As an out-and-proud trans performer, Adriana A prides herself on bridging the gap between the mainstream and alternative, making everyone feel welcome at the party!

Twunkerbell has been a raver since the late 90's when he threw an underground rave in his crib. Music connoisseurs and headbanging ravers alike have referred to his DJ sets as "decent", "pretty good", and "something people listen to". He combines 20 years of classical piano training with definitely complementary musical genres such as slut pop, tech house, nu disco, booty poppin' music, and some real gnarly remixes of songs you've probably twerked to. Armed with his last remaining brain cell and a keyboard that is just good enough to be playable but not too expensive for him to care if it gets destroyed at Burning Man, he incorporates live elements into his high-energy sets to take your ears on a magical journey of sunshine, rainbows, and unicorn ketamine.

Allen Craig is one of the founders of San Francisco’s Moulton Music and a member of The SyntheTigers. His DJ career began in the house parties of Berkeley in 1991, where he eventually met compatriot Homero Espinosa, with whom he formed influential underground house label Yerba Buena Discos. He was also the business manager for David Harness and Chris Lum’s Harlem Musiq label, which eventually joined forces with Yerba Buena Discos to form Molton Music, named after the well known studio space they shared.
Hundreds of releases later, Allen is still an underground denizen, counted on for quality music by DJs the world over, and known for his smooth, genre-bending mixes informed by decades of dance music history but with a healthy obsession for everything new and next. Allen is a regular at some of the Bay Area’s most beloved queer spaces - he’s a resident at Oakland’s Afternoon Delight, and spins regularly at fellow SyntheTiger Sergio Fedasz’s internationally renowned disco night Go BANG! as well as Comfort & Joy’s Touch parties.
