Pride month is upon us...get it started right with a freaky fun night of community, spectacle, performance and style at the Freak Chic Pride Gala.
This year we're moving on up: we'll be serving up cheeky chic runway realness at OASIS!
We kick off at 5pm with an hour for you to shop the stylish wares of local queer and allied artists + fashionistas at
the Fashion Bazaar. From bespoke face coverings by Byrd Beaks to bespoke chest pieces by DOLT and perfectly over-the-top sleeves and hats
by Ismael Acosta Designs, you’ll find everything from the new necessary to the timelessly extra — all hand-crafted by local queerdos.
Take in live jazz by chanteuse Maria Konner while you shop…maybe she’ll even autograph a copy of her new book for you afterward!
Visit our Pop-up Drag Closet to enhance your look with temporary tattoos, glittery body art and *juuuust a little* more makeup...
then, make sure you memorialize the ferociously proud lewk you’ve manifested with a professional fashion shot from PhotoByDot!
The Rooftop will be open for all styles, under the sun -
ticket price includes nibbles from the rooftop catering cohort if you want to nosh, and bars will be open if
you'd like to buy somebody a drink (wink wink). Should the sun bless us with her appearance,
so will a day-party DJ set from the one and only Jason Godfrey!

From 6-8:30pm let our performative runway art take you in: full Designer Collections from Haus of Jubil, Suppository Spelling
and Sister Magic Productions; smaller Designer Showcases from Ismael Acosta and Lacie Croptop; and runway take-overs by dancer Sawako,
drag artist Newoncé Gazelle, vogue performer C. Quinn, belly dancer Larissa Archer, and pinup girl Bionka Simone,
plus two (count them TWO) runway sets featuring a floatilla of choreographed patterns and colors interwoven by
Supporting Designer Christian Squires...there's no stopping freak pride, folks!
After the Show, Freak the Funway is your chance to show off your fierce look:
spectator becomes performer, community becomes stage
and space is held for all...then we invite you to let your hair down, put on
your comfy shoes and make your body move to DJ ISSA’s dance-ready beats!
